The Monaco Grand Prix is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (with which it forms the Triple Crown of Motorsport). Staged around the narrow, winding streets of Monte Carlo, the twisting 77-lap circuit offers incalculable opportunities for spectators to be within close proximity of the cars and witness the thrill of screaming engines, the smell of burning brakes, molten rubber and smoking tires and the evasive maneuvers of these professional drivers.
