"This Masters experience was much greater than I expected. You cannot describe the feeling of seeing AMEN CORNER FOR THE FIRST TIME. I stood there for 20 minutes in total silence just absorbing the SCENE. It was 7:45 A.M. hardly anyone in this area and I felt like I was the most fortunate person to be able to experience that MOMENT. THE MASTERS COURSE HAS NO EQUAL, IT STANDS ALONE." ~ Richard A., April 2011

Another unique element to The Masters® experience is concessions. One can purchase sandwiches and beverages at great prices within the gates of Augusta National. That said there are no hospitality venues for the general public and the number of choices are limited.

QuintEvents works to develop the experience around your budget, group size, and event goals. Options for accommodations are fairly unique for The Masters® and generally break into three options:

The Masters is the first of the major golf championship to be played each year and is followed by the three other major championships in professional golf; PGA Tour, the PGA European Tour, and the Japan Golf Tour. Unlike the other major championships, the Masters is held each year at the same location, Augusta national Golf Club, a private Golf Club in the city of Augusta, Georgia, USA.
Masters Tickets vs. Masters Badges
Masters Badges are issued for admittance to The Masters® every year for Championship rounds, while daily Masters Tickets are issued for the Practice Rounds.
Unlike many other sporting events, there are not “tickets” for each day of the Championship, but rather a single badge for use all four days. For this reason, there are stringent controls on daily badge accounting and behavior on the cou
About Wednesday Par 3:
The Par 3 Contest was first introduced in 1960 and is traditionally played on the Wednesday before the tournament begins. It is a nine-hole course, with a par of 27, and measures 1.060 yards (970m) in length. The winner of the Par 3 competition wins a crystal bowl.
Masters Winners
Winning the Masters affords a golfer several privileges which make his career more secure - and make the field of competitors quite special every year. Masters champions are automatically invited to play in the other three majors for the following five seasons and invitations to The Players Championship for five years. In addition to the green jacket, winners of the tournament receive a gold medal and a sterling silver replica of the engraved Masters trophy which remains at Augusta National.
- The Masters was originally known as the "Augusta National Invitation" Tournament; the present name was adopted in 1939
- The first Masters tournament was held in March of 1934 and was played with current holes 10 through 18 played as the first nine, and 1 through 9 as the second nine, then reversed permanently to its present layout for the 1935 tournament
- The tournament was not played from 1943-45 due to World War II. To assist the war effort, cattle and turkeys were raised on the Augusta National grounds
- The distinctive green jacket has been awarded since 1949 and is presented to the winner first inside the Butler Cabin, soon after the end of the tournament, and then the presentation is repeated outside near the 18th green in front of the spectators
- Before 1957, there was no 36-hole cut
- The course from the Masters tees is now 7,445 yards (6,808m); 520 yards (480m) longer than the 2001 course.
- The grass on the putting greens was originally the wide-bladed Bermuda and then the healthier strain of narrow-bladed Bermuda was introduced to speed the course. In 1981 the greens were reconstructed with bentgrass which resulted in significantly faster putting surfaces.
- Just before the 1975 tournament, the common beige sand in the bunders was replaced with the now-signature white feldspar which is shipped in from North Carolina.
