The 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend will take place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada, home of the Toronto Raptors.

This will mark the first time in history for the NBA All-Star Weekend to be held outside of the United States. Just as with every new location, Toronto will add a different flair to the annual celebration and the event weekend is sure to be full of famous faces, music, paries, and, of course, basketball!

In fact, here are five things to look forward to at the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend:

1. Some Special Celebrities

The annual game has long been a star-studded event, but Drake’s star power is sure to bring in unexpected celebrities from all over the globe to enjoy the NBA’s best go head-to-head. If with NBA All-Star heading to Canada, there's a good chance the one and only Justin Bieber may be a part of the festivities, as well.

2. The Distillery District

For instance, if you’re wanting to escape the big city for a few days and see what else Canada has to offer, you can hop on a ferry and head to the nearby Toronto Islands. Entrance to the islands is free, and you will even get a great view of the city skyline!  You can also travel back in time if you choose to prolong your getaway with a trip to the Black Creek Pioneer Village.
