NBA All-Star 2020 Tickets: How to Buy Before Public On-Sale

There's two big myths that go around about buying tickets for NBA All-Star.

The first is that tickets to the NBA All-Star Game and State Farm All-Star Saturday Night aren't available to the general public.

This isn't true.

The second is that you have to wait for the public on-sale if you want to purchase tickets to the Celebrity events on Friday or try to snag Saturday and Sunday tickets on the secondary market. For reference, the public on-sale for NBA All-Star 2019 in Charlotte took place in mid-December.

But this also isn't true.

The truth is — tickets to the 69th NBA All-Star Game in Chicago and State Farm All-Star Saturday Night are available for purchase to anyone and you can buy them RIGHT NOW.

Here's how:

NBA All-Star 2020 Official Ticket Package

Official Ticket Packages to NBA All-Star 2020 are currently on sale through NBA Premium and are the ONLY way to get access to the biggest events of All-Star weekend right now.

As an Official Hospitality Provider of the NBA, the league provides NBA Premium official tickets to NBA All-Star 2020 to package with hospitality access and other exclusive extras.

These tickets haven't touched the secondary market, meaning they are offered at face value and come with a 100-percent guarantee of fulfillment from NBA Premium and the NBA.

So while sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, TicketMaster, EventBrite and the rest won't have tickets available until two months before the event, you can purchase right now through NBA Premium by clicking below.

Perks of an Official Ticket Package

The first perk, and the reason you're probably reading this, is that you can secure your tickets to the biggest events of NBA All-Star 2020 before anyone else.

The public on-sale will likely take place in December once again, which is roughly two months from NBA All-Star 2020. But, as stated before, the on-sale won't give the general public access to purchase tickets to the NBA All-Star Game and All-Star Saturday Night events. Access to those events are normally held for partners and sponsors of the NBA and for the host team — in this case it's the Chicago Bulls.

But an Official Ticket Package, which is available for anyone to buy, includes tickets to State Farm All-Star Saturday Night, the 69th NBA All-Star Game and a souvenir lanyard and ticket sleeve.

Packages also grant you access to NBA Premium's 2-Hour Pre-Game Hospitality that includes Meet-and-Greets with NBA legends, gourmet food, a premium open bar, photo and autograph opportunities with former players, interactive experiences and more!

Lastly, NBA Premium spares you the hassle of finding a hotel in Chicago during the city's busiest week of the year by offering you the chance to add hotel accommodations and ground transportation to your Official Ticket Package order.
